System Flex is always working on innovation and improvement. This is largely focused on making our company more sustainable. This way, not only we, but also the future, can enjoy the spaces we create. Wood is also incorporated into our system walls. Wood is generally used extensively in construction. As a sustainable company, we strive to use only sustainable wood.

The Forest Stewardship Council® FSC certification indicates that the wood comes from sustainably managed forests and/or recycled materials. This guarantees a responsible origin. For this reason, we always purchased only FSC-certified wood, but we weren't yet part of the supply chain ourselves. That needed to change!

We recently successfully completed the audit and are proud to officially call ourselves part of the FSC supply chain. This means we can always offer you the option of implementing a fully FSC-compliant project, if desired. The FSC quality mark guarantees:

• Vulnerable forest areas and forests with a high natural value are left alone.
• To prevent erosion, no timber is cut along waterways and on steep slopes.
• After logging, the forest is given the opportunity to recover. This ensures that no more wood is cut than can grow back.
