Office renovation ITHO Daalderop Schiedam: Sustainability and metamorphosis
At ITHO Daalderop in Schiedam , System Flex has completely redesigned several floors of the office building. During this project, both system walls and ceilings were installed, resulting in a modern, open, and functional work environment.
Our Flex Stud and Flex Industrial walls have been used throughout the building – a combination that creates a sleek, robust look with industrial details.
Disassembly, recycling and reconstruction
Before installation, we carefully dismantled the existing structure. The old system walls and ceilings were completely removed and recycled – a sustainable approach that seamlessly aligns with our circular working methods. Once the building was completely stripped back, we could begin constructing the new spaces, resulting in a true transformation.
A project full of technical challenges
A special feature of this project was the high glass wall on the ground floor, with an impressive height of 3.6 meters. To achieve this safe construction, we reinforced the H-profiles. This not only ensures that the wall meets all safety requirements but also creates a visual highlight within the space.
The result – modern, sleek and sustainable
The renovated floors of ITHO Daalderop have been transformed into modern, bright, and comfortable workspaces. The combination of Flex Stud and Flex Industrial walls and the reuse of existing elements has created a sustainable and future-proof interior that we are justifiably proud of.
