Office design Digital Survival Company: Harmony between two floors
At the Digital Survival Company, System Flex installed system walls and ceilings on multiple floors. After successfully completing the first floor, we were also commissioned to transform the second floor. The challenge? To combine the wishes of interior architect Maaike Veenstra so that the building would remain a single visual and functional whole.
The result is a stylish office interior, in which the different floors connect perfectly with each other — despite their own character and function.
System walls – consistency in style and acoustics
On the first floor, our Flex Light 2.0 glass walls were installed, combined with double-clad metal stud walls. The second floor required specific acoustic properties, so the Flex Light Deluxe was chosen – a double-glazed glass wall with the exact same look as the Flex Light 2.0.
In addition, double-clad Flex Stud walls and Industrial Frame Doors have been installed on the second floor, which contribute to a robust and modern appearance.
Ceilings – two stories, two styles
The difference between the floors is also evident in the ceiling finish . A sprayed ceiling was chosen for the first floor, which required extreme precision since the office remained in use. On the second floor, a Rockfon suspended ceiling with a flat inlay in Fresh was chosen – a light shade of blue that creates a fresh atmosphere.
One whole despite different wishes
This project demonstrates how you can create a consistent interior using different materials and acoustic requirements. Through clever material choices, the two floors are visually and functionally connected. The result is a pleasant work environment where craftsmanship and creativity converge.
