To qualify for tax benefits, a wall system must meet specific requirements. The system must not be permanently attached to the ceiling, floor, or wall, so that it remains easily movable. Furthermore, the manufacturer must guarantee that the system will be taken back for reuse or high-quality recycling at the end of its lifespan. Maximum benefit with MIA and VAMIL

If a business asset is listed on the Environmental List, you can benefit from the MIA (Environmental Investment Deduction) and VAMIL (Arbitrary Depreciation of Environmental Investments) . This can result in a net tax benefit of up to 14 percent per investment.

• MIA: This allows you to reduce your taxable profit with a deduction of up to 36 percent of the investment amount.
• VAMIL: This allows you to write off 75 percent of the investment at any time, which provides an immediate interest and liquidity advantage.

Conditions for entrepreneurs

Any company that pays income or corporate tax in the Netherlands can use these schemes, provided the following criteria are met:

• The asset is officially on the Environmental List.
• This is a new, previously unused investment.
• The investment amount per asset is at least € 2,500.
• The investment must be reported to the RVO within three months of the order being placed.
